Another year has flown by, and we’ve accomplished so much together.
A perfect moment to look back on the past year with the management team.

Bas van Dam: “For me, the dismantling of TechniShow stands out. All metalworking machines had to be removed from the exhibition floor in an extremely short time. We suggested making an exception to work on Sunday, and it was enthusiastically embraced. With 25 to 30 employees, we were in Utrecht at 7:00 a.m. on Sunday morning! By 5:00 p.m., we were back in Oudewater, having had an incredible day. It was a huge task accomplished with great joy and without a single harsh word. In short, a unique highlight!”

Stef van Dam: “I’m really proud of the large GML projects we’ve carried out for the food sector. Along with the development of our warehouse in Terneuzen, we’re able to efficiently and smoothly handle large volumes of container operations. Of course, the documentation and transport planning are meticulously prepared, and clear communication is maintained at every stage of the project. It feels fantastic to be capable of managing such large export projects.

In 2024, the Volvo Aero Truck was introduced. It’s amazing to see how much more we can achieve in terms of aerodynamics and fuel savings in transport. Together with the Euro low-loader, these are great additions to our fleet, keeping us fully up-to-date for the future.”

Jan van Dam: “The anniversary celebration was an unforgettable experience! The way we organized it at our company premises was fantastic. Together with employees, family, and loved ones, it was truly a memorable event. A warm evening with delicious food, amazing decor, genuine attention, drinks, and music. I will always cherish this memory. What a phenomenal company!”

What all these highlights have in common is COLLABORATION. We can write that in all caps because at Van Dam, we truly do everything together.
Within the company, all employees form a crucial link in our approach and involvement. But also outside the company, in collaboration with our customers. By thinking along with them, we take the burden off their shoulders and adjust our services wherever possible. As Jan says: “When you’re close to the customer, you’re in the right place!”

2024 has been a year where we’ve strengthened the foundation of the company. On to 2025, where we’ll be excited to share what’s next on our journey!
