In Veldhoven, they realized a new production location. They faced the challenge of setting up the new location with both existing and new machines.
It is our pleasure to tell you about our approach to Wilting's corporate relocation.
Wilting operates from locations in Wintelre and Leerdam. In Veldhoven, they realized a new production location. They faced the challenge of setting up the new location with both existing and new machines. Because of the different locations and the amount of production machines, a major operation and a real 'musical chairs' of machine transport. There is a lot involved in setting up a new production location. Which machine will be placed where? What equipment will it require and when will the machine be available? The Wilting company prepared this logistical move very well. They approached the right parties for logistical support to give them practical and professional support with all logistical operations.

On behalf of Bendertechniek, we took care of the transport and installation of eleven new milling machines for Wilting. These new machines came from Asia to the port in Rotterdam. We picked up the containers there and then brought them to the warehouse of Jan van Dam Global Machine Logistics. There the machines were removed from the container, unpacked and put into temporary storage until the new machines could be received at the new locations. The machines were stored well-protected all this time. The transport, unloading and placement in Wintelre and Veldhoven took place, by mutual agreement, in several stages. As soon as the schedule was clear, the machine was loaded from our warehouse and transported to the new location. There we took care of the unloading, placing and drilling of the milling machines.
Meanwhile, on behalf of Wilting, we also moved several existing machines from the Wintelre and Leerdam locations to Veldhoven. That relocation consisted of bringing out the machines at the existing location, transport and unloading and placing them at the new location.
We like to tell about this project because it was very valuable for us to have been involved in the plan of action from the beginning. Together with clients Wilting and Bender, we were allowed to think about the logistical approach. In this way, the added value of our expertise can be felt by the clients. We look back on this project with great pleasure and appropriate pride.

This project is a great example of “We cover it all.” Under the direction of our sister company Jan van Dam Global Machine Logistics, we managed the road transport and installation as one integrated international logistics operation.
FMI is located in Bergen op Zoom. This company is essentially a customer of our customers. By this, we mean that we have regularly been commissioned to unload and place machines at FMI. As a result, they have a diverse range of machinery.
