Preparation and Planning
TechniShow 2026 is the largest trade fair in the Benelux for industrial production technologies. The latest machines and innovations were presented here to professionals from the manufacturing industry.
Preparations for TechniShow 2026 already started months in advance. We contacted exhibitors to map out the machines, locations, and overall schedule.
Based on this information, we created a detailed operational plan. This included all collection times, transport movements, and the sequence of installation. This structured approach ensured full control over execution and enabled an efficient setup.

Transport and Installation
On Monday, March 2, the build-up began at the Jaarbeurs. A few machines had already been preloaded the Friday before. On Monday, the trucks and truck-mounted cranes departed from Oudewater towards the Jaarbeurs.
During that week, the team from Jan van Dam Machine Transport worked on transporting and installing the latest machines. Many of these machines were already stored in our warehouses, allowing us to respond quickly.
In collaboration with DB Schenker, we also managed the logistical coordination on the exhibition floor.
On-Site Coordination
During the build-up, our project manager was continuously on site as the main point of contact. He oversaw the schedule and coordinated with exhibitors and technicians. This central coordination ensured clear oversight and a smooth execution of all activities.
We look back on TechniShow 2026 with a smile. At this edition, we also had our own stand, which gave us the opportunity to connect with existing clients and establish new contacts. The first inquiries have already been received and are being followed up.
After the fair, we managed the complete breakdown as well. Machines were loaded, transported, and stored in our warehouses where necessary.
The video from the setup days clearly shows how this process unfolds in practice and how our teams operate on the exhibition floor.

Transport and installation of machines during TechniShow 2026, including full logistical coordination and planning for our clients.
This project is a great example of “We cover it all.” Under the direction of our sister company Jan van Dam Global Machine Logistics, we managed the road transport and installation as one integrated international logistics operation.
FMI is located in Bergen op Zoom. This company is essentially a customer of our customers. By this, we mean that we have regularly been commissioned to unload and place machines at FMI. As a result, they have a diverse range of machinery.
